WaveLoop FM-1

An FM-1 instrument mod for the MiniLab 3. Plug in over DIN MIDI and play without a computer.

Sounds

32 patches in each of ten synth banks: basses, pads, keys, leads and textures. Existing patches keep their numbers.

Choose either in the DRUM bank. Edit and mix each drum separately. Existing sounds using these kits receive the new voicing too.

Setup

  1. Back up your FM-1, then install this mod.
  2. Import the MiniLab preset in Arturia MIDI Control Center. Store it to User 5 and activate User 5.
  3. Set FM-1 ROUT to CH1-4. Use MIDI channels 1–4 for the four tracks.
  4. Use the correct DIN-to-TRS adapter. A computer is only needed for setup.

Patterns run up to 64 steps: SEQ → PATTERN → LEN. Page through groups of 16.
